I’ve always been a big fan of motor  racing. I know it’s not entirely climate friendly, but I just love car racing. In fact I love cars generally.
Men Gifts

Today I came across a wonderful gift for a Nascar fan. Nascar racing just has to be some of the most exciting motor racing there is and I know it has a huge following, so there will be plenty of men who would love a great Nascar Christmas gift.

I think this is a brilliant gift for a Nascar fan. It’s a crystal Nascar. Incredibly detailed, beautifully presented on a matching stand with a replica of the drivers autograph. You can choose from number 24, Jeff Gordon, number 8, Dale Earnhardt Jr or number 48, Jimmie Johnson.

I found them at Taylor Gifts, on their website at http://www.taylorgifts.com/, although they’ve sold gifts offline for more than half a century.

I just don’t know what it is about motor racing that gets my blood going. But it does. And Nascar has to be some of the best motor racing around.

While I was looking at the Taylor gifts website I decided to browse around a little more to see what else they had to offer. It’s a pretty big website with plenty there for the car lover, and anyone else for that matter. If your man loves his motoring I’m sure that you could find a good gift idea for him there.
Men Gifts

A gift idea for any man who lives in a hot climate is the micro fridge. It’s a tiny little fridge that’s just big enough to hold 4 drinks and his lunch, and it plugs into the power outlet in the car. And of course it’s not just something that he can use in the car. He can use standard AC power as well and so it can go just about anywhere where he is likely to need a little cooling for his drinks.

Maybe out on the water if he’s out fishing, may be at work so he’s got a cold drink to hand when he needs it or anywhere else where he can plug it in to keep his drinks and his lunch cool.

It’s very small and will go just about anywhere.

There’s some great automotive gift ideas for the motoring man, and at a very reasonable price. Even if you’re a little short this year you can come up with some good gift ideas for very little. Here’s a gift idea for a motoring man for under $3.

It’s a gas gripper. You know what it’s like when you’re filling up. You have to hold the lever of the pump handle and after a while, if it’s a long fill, your forearm starts to get sore. The gas gripper is a simple little idea to clip around the lever and allow the car to fill without needing to hang on the whole time.
Men Gifts

I know my wife has complained about a sore forearm when filling up, and when you buy the gas gripper you get 2 of them, (so you can give him one and keep the other for yourself). For $3 for 2 of them it’s a very cheap and simple gift idea for a man who loves his motoring.

I have to say that I hadn’t come across the website of Taylor Gifts before. There’s so many gifts stores on the Internet that even after all this time looking at men’s gift ideas there are still some online gift stores that are new to me. This is great news because it is always fun to find new stores to browse to find out what sorts of new ideas for gifts are available on their website.

I also found some fun gag gifts on their site as well, including some which would be a good idea for a gag gift for a motoring man for Christmas if he’s the sort that appreciates a good laugh on Christmas Day. Read more

You have to find out what turns your man on. There’s your gift idea.

Men GiftsWatches are one of my things. I love watches, and shoes, no idea why I like either, I just do.

Plenty of men will tell you that there is really nothing much that they need or want for a gift. However it is rarely true.

There may be nothing that immediately comes to mind that he desperately wants, however there are usually some great ideas to be found for men’s gifts once you get to know your man.

That’s your job. Get to know your man, get to know what he loves and you’ll find some great gift ideas there. For me it’s watches and shoes, for your man it’s probably something different.

If my wife asks me what I want for Christmas I probably won’t even think of suggesting a wonderful looking watch or the latest pair of shoes, however if she got me either for Christmas I’d be delighted.

And I can’t even tell you why. I have no idea why watches or shoes do it for me. You need to find out what will do it for your man.
Men Gifts

Of course you can’t spend your life buying the same thing over and over. My wife couldn’t buy me watches or shoes every Christmas or I would end up with too many. But from time to time it would make a great gift idea for me.

Actually thinking about it………

So today I got to browsing watches. It’s not the first time I’ve written about men’s watches on this site, however after thinking about what would do it for me I thought it was a good day to look at men’s watches.

I found some wonderful watches at Shopnbc.com. In particular their Invicta watches took my fancy, I’m stunned at how many they offer and at how many I want.

I have to say that I didn’t even know Invicta made so many hot watches. I must have spent an hour looking through them all, and I’ve featured some here today.

Watches are a fashion item now. Of course you need your watch to tell the time but men’s watches have gone way beyond just telling you what the time is.

You need a watch to tell the time but you need a few watches to make a statement. In particular what I like about some of the wonderful Invicta watches that I’ve been looking at is the colors. I don’t think I’ve seen such a range of stunning colors in watches before.
Mens Watches

In particular I love the green watch.

If your man has 3 or 4 watches of different colors and designs then he can rotate them as he wishes. Match the color of the watch to his business suit for example, or maybe just to how he feels that day.

The days are gone when a man will be happy with just one watch to tell the time. Now, with watches a fashion accessory, he needs a range of different colors and designs. They’ll all tell him the same time but they’ll all say it in different ways.

So if watches are your man’s thing, as they are for me, you can’t go past a stunning men’s watch for Christmas. Even if he has one or 2 already there is always room for one more great looking watch. Read more

Men who want to strengthen their hand or arm, or with hand or arm injuries, can do so anywhere.

Here’s a great idea for a gift for a man who needs some rehabilitation work on the muscles of his hands, wrists, arms and shoulders. It’s a tiny little hand dumbbell with an internal gyroscope that provides resistance to movement.
Gyroscopic Dumbbell

Or maybe he just works in a job requiring more hand strength and upper body conditioning.

The way it works is this. If he holds the dumbbell, about the size of a tennis ball, and rotates his wrist the gyroscope inside the dumbbell rotates at around 13,000 rpm and this provides torque of up to 38 lbs resistance.

Studies at the southern UK University have shown that using the gyroscopic dumbbell can increase maximum hand grip strength by an average of 11 percent.

It comes with a docking station which initiates the spinning of the gyroscope and tachometer which displays the current rpm. This allows him to track his progress.

It’s a tiny way for him to work on his hand strength as well is his arm and shoulder strength.

NASA sent a gyroscopic dumbbell interspace with their astronauts that help maintain their upper body conditioning. It’s so small that NASA could fit it in one of their spacecraft.

And it’s so small that your men can take it with anywhere he goes, packed away safely.

It runs on two double A batteries.

Or perhaps your man has some form of repetitive strain injury or osteoarthritis of the hands. A similar device, intended more to help mitigate the effects of these types of hand problems is the hand fitness trainer.
Hand Trainer For Men

As you can see from the photo this is worn like a glove and provides resistance each time he opens his hand and fingers. This helps strengthen the extensor muscles in the hand and in turn this helps reduce the pain associated repetitive strain injuries of the hand as well as of the elbow.

Resistance can be adjusted for every single finger.

This helps not only the hand, but for a man who has a condition of the elbow such as tennis elbow or tendonitis it can be extremely effective.

It also increases manual dexterity, improves balance of the muscles in the hands and improves joint stability.

The hand fitness trailer has won the Medical Design Excellence Award for its design features.

This too will fit in a briefcase very easily and can be taken anywhere so we can use it whenever he wishes.

Get both of them at Hammacher Schlemmer, just type “hand exercise” into their search tool and you’ll see them there. Read more

Whilst I’m not a cigar smoker myself, if ever I get my hands on one I run it under my nose just for that wonderful aroma.

But there’s stacks of men, I know, who love a good cigar or 3. And who can blame them if that’s their thing. And girls, if your man loves a good cigar then there’s your gift ideas for him right there. Cigars and everything that goes with them.
Cigar Gifts For Him

Cigars aren’t cheap of course, and there’s plenty of men who can’t afford all that many. But if you’re looking for a great gift idea then a box of cigars, or perhaps a humidor, or another cigar accessory, would, I’m sure, go down a treat. It’s always nice to buy him something that he can’t afford to buy a lot of himself.

And like just about everything it’s always cheaper to buy online. So today I’ve been looking at cigar stores online.

The one that caught my eye was famous-smoke.com. They have a list of cigar brands on sale that beggars belief. I knew that you got good cigars from Cuba, but Honduras and Nicaragua? And did you know that the Dominican Republic is actually the worlds largest exporter of cigars?

So if your man is a cigar aficionado and smokes Cuban cigars then why not get him some Honduran cigars to try, or Nicaraguan cigars?

If you’re interested in any particular brand of cigars then you can read customer reviews of literally hundreds of different brands. You’re spoiled for choice, so if you know he loves a particular brand you can go straight to it. Otherwise you may spend some time browsing the huge range of different cigars available, and all the options for the different brands.

But if choosing a brand of cigars gets a little confusing why not find him a great cigar gift by buying him a cigar accessory? Like the cigars themselves I had no idea that there were so many different accessories to buy for the cigar smoker. Again there’s hundreds. There’s 107 different cigar cutters alone, for example. And humidification devices to make sure his cigars are as fresh as the day you gave them to him.

And did you even know that cigar lovers need to ensure the exact right level of humidity to make sure those cigars stay at their best, and that he can do that with a hygrometer?

There’s literally hundreds of gift ideas for the cigar smoker, many of which I didn’t even know existed. Right from different brands of cigars to a whole range of cigar accessories.

So if your man is a cigar smoker then there’s your gift ideas right there. Why not treat him to a box of cigars from a country that he didn’t even know made them, or grab him some good cigar accessories? Read more

If a barking dog is keeping him (and you) awake it night here’s what you buy him.

I know exactly what it’s like. I used to have a barking dog living right beside me and I spent countless hours awake. There wasn’t anything I wouldn’t have done to get rid of that bark.
Mens Gifts

So if your man, and you, are being kept awake by a barking dog then a great gift for him is a barking dog deterrent.

Here’s a great gift idea for a man who’s being kept awake at night by barking dogs. An ultrasonic dog bark deterrent.

It looks like a birdhouse, so it’s not unsightly, and it keeps dog from barking anywhere nearby.

How? It detects any local barking by dogs and emits an ultrasonic sound that humans can’t hear but dogs can. The dogs don’t like the sound.

So every time the dog barks he or she is hit by this dog noise, and after a while the dog starts to realize that “every time I bark I get this nasty noise, so maybe I should keep quiet to avoid the noise”.

It works. It keeps his evenings and night times, and for that matter his day times, quiet. Ahh, for some peace and quiet.

So if you’ve been struggling for a gift for your man and he, and you, are going nuts from barking dogs, give him an ultrasonic dog barking deterrent.

The neighbours will be touched by your kind gift to the local birds.  :-)

Get it from Hammacher Schlemmer, the best online mens gifts store in my view. When you get to their site just search “dog bark” there and you’ll see that you have a couple of choices to deter barking dogs, indoors and outdoors.

After all, what better gift can you give to your man than peace and quiet. Read more
