Golf gifts are extremely popular. Men love golf and so many women look for golf gifts for their men because they know a good golf gift always works.

There’s all sorts of golf gifts, many of them unusual, funny or gag golf gifts. Nothing wrong with that, I love a good joke and I have written about a good golf gag gift before.

But there are also some very good and useful golf gifts for Christmas and birthdays, and I prefer a gift that’s useful more than just a good laugh.

So here’s an idea for a golf gift that’s a little unusual, but a great gift for a golfing man. It’s useful and should help him improve his handicap.

It’s the Face Forward Wedge. Now if you’re a golfer yourself you’ll notice if you look closely that it looks a little different from the side than you may expect.

I don’t know what it is with guys and gadgets. Guys just seem to love gadgets for no apparent reason. Or at least no reason I can discern.

New gadgets are everywhere, there seems to be an insatiable demand for them, and an enormous supply of new gadgets for a hungry market.

“Gadget’ can of course mean many things. Probably the best definition of what a gadget is is the definition of gadget from Wikipedia.

“A gadget is a device or an appliance that has a useful specific practical purpose and function but is often thought of as a novelty. Gadgets are invariably considered to be unusually or cleverly designed than normal technology at the time of their invention. Gadgets are sometimes also referred to as gizmos.”

It’s a pretty good definition, but it doesn’t explain why guys love gadgets! I suspect it’s something to do with the “novelty” aspect. Gadgets are fun, novel, different. There is something “cutting edge” about gadgets, something new and exciting.

However it doesn’t really matter why men love high tech gadgets, just that they do. And if men love gadgets then a great gadget makes a great Christmas gift, or birthday gift or any other gift for a man.
