I was watching a documentary the other day about the Hornet, and they showed some extraordinary footage of some simulated combat, extremely fast and extremely low. I was so jealous that some men get to do these things, and get paid for it, and it isn't me.

I often have a look at the words that people use to find my site on google, and a common one is sexy gift baskets for men.

I have been surprised at how many people come to my site looking for sexy mens gifts and romantic gifts for men. I had expected that this would be one of the least popular of the categories of gifts that I discuss, however I have been wrong. It is in fact one of the most popular. DVD players are going to be hot this Christmas. That's not to say of course that they aren't already, but there are so many new models around and so many new features that they are just getting better and better as a Christmas gift for birthday gift idea.

And for those who don't have a fortune to spend they are also getting cheaper and cheaper.

About this time last year my family and I spent 3 months living in China. We bought a video player over there and connected it up to a TV that we had right there in the apartment for us to use. It worked absolutely fine and we have brought it back home and now have it working with our regular TV at home, and it's still working fine.

It cost the equivalent of around $60. That's pretty cheap, and they aren't a whole lot more expensive here either.
So if you're looking for a hot Christmas gift in 2007 then why not a DVD player for your man if he doesn't have one? It can be a fantastic and very cheap Christmas present.

I'm not going into all the new features of the new breed of DVDs here, I'm not sufficiently techie and therefore not really qualified to review them, that's for others who know a lot more about the technicals of how DVD players work and what features do what.

I am though, going to comment on my experiences of buying a cheap DVD player. Because I am sure that there are many women out there who would love to buy a great Christmas gift for your man for $60 or so, but who are just a little bit wary of an electronic device that cheap.

The iPod has taken the listening and now viewing world by storm. Apple has taken it's successful business in computers and put it's technical electronic expertise to good use making the iPod the worlds most popular music listening device. And soon to be one of the worlds most popular Christmas presents this year as I see it.

And for good reason. Apple keep adding improvements to their already wildly popular product to enhance it's functionality.
