I mentioned a little while back that BBQs are always popular with men. It’s a great way to connect with friends and share a little food and beer outdoors, or whatever takes your fancy.

I love BBQs and anything connected with BBQS makes a good gift for a man who likes them.

I also said I’d let you know if I come across anything in the BBQs area that I thought would be worthwhile passing on as a great gift for him.

I love chocolates, especially dark chocolates, and especially with soft centers. I’m hungry thinking about it right now, and I’ve just had breakfast! So I think a gift of chocolate for a man is a wonderful gift.

There seems to be this impression that it is only women who should be given chocolates. That chocolates make a fine valentines day gift for a woman for example. But not for a man. It’s a strange notion, given that just about all men I know love chocolate.

And it’s wonderful news to find out that the health researchers are now telling us that eating chocolate is good for you!

Give him chocolates, it’s good for him!

Unfortunately it’s restricted a little, he has to eat them in moderation, and preferably dark chocolate. The last one suits me, but not the first.

So forget the stereotype that chocolates only make a nice gift for a woman. Give him some chocolates if he’s a chocolate lover, and he’ll love it!>

Which chocolates to give him? Well of course you could just head on over to your local store and buy some, but you can do better than that.

One of the best ways to organise a mans chocolate gift is by a “gift of the month“. You’ll know if you’re a regular reader here that I’m a big fan of gift of the month clubs. I’ve talked about coffee, wine and more. I think it’s a wonderful way to give a gift that goes on and on.

And that’s how it should be with chocolates. It’s not hard to see off chocolates in a single day, so chocolates which keep coming every month will be a great gift for a man who can’t get enough chocolate.

The chocolate of the month club isn’t a 12 month deal, and if you think about it you can see why. The chocolates have to be shipped, and in summer ……………

So you can choose 3, 6 or 9 months for his chocolate gift that goes on and on.
