There are many many gifts that a woman – or a man – can give to a man that are free, but may be far more valuable and worthwhile than most other gifts in life.
And which may be far more a demonstration of their love as well.
It’s not the cost of the gift for a man that determines the value.
This is a gift that falls into that category. A thoroughly worthwhile gift of love – and health – that costs nothing. And which for some men be the best gift they ever receive.
It’s a gift of a visit to the doctor for an overall health check, incuding a prostate cancer check. Not an easy gift to give, but one you may be thankful for for the rest of your – and his – life.
I’m no doctor, and don’t take this as medical advice, but as I understand it prostate cancer is one of the major killers of men in our society. Just like breast cancer is of women.
And also as I understand it, men are extremely reluctant to go for a general medical checkup, including a prostate check.
So if he’s really special it might be up you to make sure he does. And make it for a general check up as well, not just prostate. There’s lots of other things worth checking. Do it annually.
This is a particularly personal issue for me. My father had prostate cancer. He died some 12 months ago, from cancer. They don’t know exactly which, he ended up with a few types of cancer, the prostate cancer may or may not have caused them.

A groomsmens gift is a gift to one of the most important people involved in one of the most important days in your life.
A wedding day ranks right there at the top of the list of important days for most people. If, when you got to old age, you were asked to list the days in your life that meant the most to you your wedding day would be right up there.
Along with it would be the days each of your kids were born, the day you met your future wife, and a bunch of days that were extra special to you for various personal reasons.
And there are a small group of people who have an extremely important role in that special day. For a man his groomsman or men is or are those special people.
So when it comes to choosing a gift for your groomsman, you need to put some extra special effort in. Your average mens gift isn’t sufficient for a groomsmens gift.
You, of course, know your groomsman well. His likes and dislikes, his personal quirks, his habits. So it’s well worth spending some time thinking closely about the type of gift that would appeal to him.

Groomsmen Gifts by Peter, The Mens Gift Guru.
Yesterday I talked about unique gifts for men who love adrenalin. Mens gifts with a difference.
Today I have a beauty for you, if you live in the US. Zero gravity.
It is of course quite possible to replicate zero G environments here on earth, and NASA routinely do it for astronaut training. The zero G aircraft that NASA use to train their astronauts in zero gravity environments are relatively well known.
Replicating zero gravity is perfectly possible. Just ask any skydiver. A skydiver is falling at the speed that gravity makes him or her fall, less the drag effect of atmosphere. So in effect a skydiver is in a zero gravity environment. But also an extremely windy and scary one.
NASA don’t make their astronauts jump out of aeroplanes. It’s a bit expensive to spend millions training an astronaut just to lose one in a parachuting accident.
What NASA do is to replicate zero gravity in a special aircraft that plummets out of the sky at the exact speed a person would fall, thereby creating a zero gravity environment inside the plane. So anyone (except the pilots who are hopefully strapped in) floats around as they would in space.
And some well known (and rich) personalities have also managed to get a go as well.
Now it’s possible for the public to have a go.
