A special gift of a custom logo golf ball in a fine, and quite unique golfing gift idea.

Does your man play golf? Are you looking for a great golfing gift idea? I think one of the best golfing gift ideas that I’ve looked at lately is a logo golf ball.

If you don’t know what a logo golf ball is, then you’re in for a treat. A logo golf ball is a golf ball that has a special logo, pharase slogan or anything else on it.

Like his photo, or yours. Yes you can do that. It’s quite possible to find companies that will print a golf ball with a logo or phrase or photo on it.

You get to choose the golf ball, and you have a choice from amongst a wide range of ball brands. But not just brands, you can choose from amongst many of their models as well. So,for example, if he loves golf but isn’t the greatest golfer, or perhaps you’re not up to spending a lot at the moment, go for a more budget golf ball like a Callaway or a Top Flite. You can get a dosen printed up for around $30 or $40.

Or, if he’s a top golfer, or you feel like giving him the best then why not a Titleist logo golf ball like the Titleist Pro V1x, or perhaps the Pro V1. At up to almost $100 it’s more expensive, but you’re giving him some great golf balls.

You can choose not only the golf ball, but your own logo or slogan, print it on one or both sides, choose a color and design, and even put a photo on the ball.

So why not think up a special (short) phrase to put on his golf balls? Perhaps get him a custom logo golf ball with a special photo on one side and a lovely wish from you on the other? Or even just his name on it.

Noone is going to mistake whose golf ball it is up the fairway when his golf balls look like that? Read more

He loves golf. He loves looking good.

Golfing Gift
Recently I came across what I thought looked like a lovely golfing gift for a man who loves his golf. It was an idea I hadn’t personally seen before.

A golfers belt.

But not just a belt to hold up his pants and look good. A belt that a golfer can use in his golf game. A belt that has specific golfing functions, like a divot tool and a ball marker medallion.

However when I first saw it I had some reservations. In particular I did wonder how he used it. Did he have to take his belt off when he wanted to use the ball marker?

However they have been good enough to send me one to have a look at and my worries were, it turns out, groundless.

The divot tool and the ball marker are part of the buckle. And the belt is made so that it stays on when the buckle is removed. So if he needs to use it, as he will, he removes the buckle very easily and the belt stays in place.

It’s a fine idea. And I like the golfing motifs on the buckle and ball marker.

It’s a high quality leather belt and it looks good too, particularly the buckle, as you can see from the image I’ve put up.

So if you’re looking for a fine looking golfing gift idea for your man, why not a golfers belt? It’s novel, it’s unique and it’s useful in his game. And it looks good. It comes in a lovely gift box that looks the part too.

I have been asked to have a look at a new golfing idea. It looks like a hot golf gift idea to me, but I’ll find out soon.

I got an email this week asking me to take a look at a new idea that’s just come on the golfing scene. It’s a golf gift that looks like a pretty good gift idea for either men or women.

Luckily they’re sending me one to have a look at so I’ll report back once I’ve taken a look.

The idea is pretty simple, but like all simple ideas it took a little lateral thinking to come up with it. It’s a golfers belt. It looks great. It comes in real leather, with a stunning looking golf logo.

But it’s functional too. Ingeniously hidden, as far as I can see from the photos, is a divot tool and a ball marker for when you’re on the green.

It looks like a wonderful golf gift for a golfing man. When I’ve got it in my hands I’ll have a good look and see what I think, and let you all know. Shouldn’t be too long.

In the meantime if you want to check it out yourself you’ll find it at Thru The Green. Read more

Xmas Golf GiftGolf gifts are extremely popular. Men love golf and so many women look for golf gifts for their men because they know a good golf gift always works.

There’s all sorts of golf gifts, many of them unusual, funny or gag golf gifts. Nothing wrong with that, I love a good joke and I have written about a good golf gag gift before.

But there are also some very good and useful golf gifts for Christmas and birthdays, and I prefer a gift that’s useful more than just a good laugh.

So here’s an idea for a golf gift that’s a little unusual, but a great gift for a golfing man. It’s useful and should help him improve his handicap.

It’s the Face Forward Wedge. Now if you’re a golfer yourself you’ll notice if you look closely that it looks a little different from the side than you may expect.

Rather than try to explain it I’ll quote directly from the website.

” The new Face Forward Plus wedge positions the hosel about 3/4 of the way up the face, way back from the leading edge of the club. So the face is thrust forward, promoting clean contact before grass (or sand) can grab the hosel and close the face, as with ordinary wedges. New Cavity-back design gives you a can’t-miss sweet spot and extraordinary feel.”

I am one of the worlds worst golfers. I love it, but I can’t play. I lose ball after ball. Luckily my dad gave me a bucket of them a while back, and I’m fast getting through the bucket of golf balls.

golf christmas giftSo when I came across this golf gift I just had to write about it here, because it’s a golf item I need. And if I do then I’m sure plenty of others do too. This has to rank right up there for amazing and unique golf gifts.

Golf ball finding glasses. Now if you play golf you’ll know how difficult it is to find a golf ball when it’s in the rough. Even just some long grass and those balls just seem to hide themselves. For some reason a golf ball becomes invisible when it doesn’t want to be found.

So any gift that helps him to find his golf balls when he loses them has to be worthwhile. The perfect golf Christmas gift or birthday gift.

Apparently the way the glasses find those pesky lost golf balls is by blocking out the long wavelength light. The long wavelength light is the light from dark colors like brown and green, the things that golf balls like to hide in.

And they allow short wavelength light through. Short wavelength light is light from light colors, like white. Golf ball color. So you you can see the white golf balls hiding in amongst the grass and shrubs.

The other day I spent quite some time on the golf course. More than I intended. Not because I played more holes than I intended, but because I left my 7 iron in the grass.

great golf birthday giftI got to the next spot where I needed my 7 iron and there I discovered the problem. I had no 7 iron to use.

I knew what I’d done because I’ve done it before, I’d left it behind. It isn’t the first time. And of course you can never remember exactly where you left it so you have to retrace your steps until you find it, if you do.

If you left it on the last hole then it’s not too bad, but if you left it 5 holes back it can put a real hole in your day looking for it. And it’s embarrassing telling your friends to play on without you while you look for your club.

So when I came across the Club Out I immediately knew I had to write about it here as a great golf gift idea for a man who’s a little forgetful.
