Buy Him A Van Gogh For His Birthday
Here’s a [tag-tec]unique birthday gift idea[/tag-tec] for a man with a difference. A Van Gogh painting.
Now before you run for the door because you could never ever afford it, think again. It’s perfectly possible to get a painting that you can show to your, or his, friends, as a Van Gogh. Only it isn’t actually painted by Van Gogh himself.
It’s a reproduction. It looks exactly the same as a Van Gogh, (or a Monet, or a Dali, or a – well there’s lots to choose from) but it is a copy. At a tiny fraction of the price that you would pay for an original.
Well for an original you’d pay millions probably, so not too many would be considering one for a gift.
The reproductions are extremely good, as you can see from the photos I’ve put up. And you have a massive range of choices. If you’d like to give him a Van Gogh you have 125 different Van Gogh paintings to choose from. 41 Picassos. 23 Dalis. 144 Monets. 45 Renoirs. And lots more.
A great gift for a man who likes his art. Or perhaps a gift for an art teacher. Or as a unique corporate gift idea, to hang on the wall so it looks like they have a Van Gogh right there in the office.
A reproduction allows you to own a painting that you could never afford yourself. Or to give one to your favorite man. It’s not a fake because it’s sold as a reproduction, not an original. So noone is trying to put one over you and sell it to you as a real Van Gogh.
And they are extremely good value. A few hundred dollars, you’d probably pay more for a print. You can see each individual painting there, so it’s easy to make your choice.
They are oil paintings, done on canvas, by an accomplished artist. Or you can buy a print. But a reproduction in oils on canvas is my choice.
You can shop by artist. You can shop by subject. You can shop by size. And if you’re not really sure exactly what he’d like then why not a gift certificate? It’s certainly a gift certificate for an extremely unique mens gift. One he can show off to his friends. Hey, I’ve got a Van Gogh!
Visit Overstock if you’re taken by the idea of giving your man a Van Gogh for his birthday, or perhaps a Renoir, or a Dali. It certainly makes an extremely unusual birthday gift for him, or perhaps a very different fathers day gift. I’ll bet none of his friends will have a Van Gogh hanging on the wall!
