Valentines Day Chocolates - For Men. Should You REALLY Give Chocolates To Him?

So do men really like chocolates for Valentines Day?

I wrote recently about chocolates as a fine gift for a man on Valentines Day. And I was asked by a reader if chocolates were REALLY a good gift for a man. Obviously she doesn't know many men who like chocolate, or else she hasn't asked them if they do.

Absolutely men love chocolate. And so if they do then chocolates make a good gift. Whether it's a Valentines gift, or birthday gift or Christmas or just an "I love you" gift, don't make the mistake of discounting chocolates as a great gift for him.

I'll quote a comment I got from one of my readers recently.

"Amen brothah! Chocolate is a great gift for anyone. I also read a statistic recently that while women fess up to being chocoholics far more than men, 2/3 of the chocolate women buy to give away or share. Men almost always eat the chocolate they purchase. True story."

So if you're looking for a gift for that day this February, then consider Valentines Day chocolates for him.

Only problem I find is that when you look you tend to find that most chocolates are packaged for women. I was looking at some of the fine chocolates from Chatham's Fine Chocolate.

They are beautifully packaged, but to appeal to women. Lots of chocolates in the shapes of Roses, or Valentines hearts, which is fine, except that I'd like to see a few chocolates offered for women to buy for men.

Maybe Nascar themes, or football shaped or something like that. Something that says "these are mens chocolates". In mens colors. Not pink.

Now I'm happy to see that at Chatham's you can create your own box of chocolates. You choose the chocolates that go into the box. So make sure you choose a few less of the pink Roses and a few more "manish" chocolates.

But I'm not complaining either way. Pink, Rose shaped or whatever, they all taste great and I'd love some right now.

So don't forget [tag-tec]chocolates[/tag-tec] for your man. This year, and next year, and ………….
