Would A Man Kill For This Gift, Or What?
Now here's an adventure gift that I would kill for. Be a fighter pilot for a day.
I was watching a documentary the other day about the Hornet, and they showed some extraordinary footage of some simulated combat, extremely fast and extremely low. I was so jealous that some men get to do these things, and get paid for it, and it isn't me.
I know there are some extraordinary adventure gifts available, and headed on over to Signature Days, one of my favorite adventure gift companies, to have a look.
There it was. Be a fighter pilot for a day and experience simulated combat. Wow would I like to do that.
It's not cheap, but if he's the type to enjoy it and you're the type to afford it then it's a gift he'll never forget.
There's some photos of it to give you the idea. Not every man would kill to do this, but I would, and many others would. This is an [tag-tec]adventure gift[/tag-tec] at it's finest
Here's a short excerpt from their website. Guys, read it and weep.
"After strapping into the front cockpit of the Extra 300L, pre-flight safety checks are completed prior to launch. Within minutes you're airborne over the Arizona desert and ready for adventure! You'll fly in close formation with your competitor at over 250 miles per hour to witness various formation positions and then split for individual "warm-up" air combat maneuvers to familiarize yourself with the air combat aircraft and how it handles. Now you're ready for action.
We have two air-to-air combat mission profiles in our Mesa, Arizona USA location; the Intro to Air Combat Maneuvering and the Advanced Air Combat Mission."
