A Great Christmas Tree That Looks Just Like – A Christmas Tree

I love Christmas trees. After all, I have kids and Christmas is a source of so much child delight. Although I feign disinterest in the tree and get them to decorate it with all the Christmas ornaments, I love it. It’s a link back to my own childhood for me and I love seeing all the colored Christmas lights through our windows at night.

Often we have a real Christmas tree. However lately I’ve found myself feeling a little guilty about using real trees. With global warming and so on I wonder if it’s more responsible to use an artificial Christmas tree that can be reused year after year. But unfortunately I just don’t really get into artificial Christmas trees because they look so, well, artificial.

Mind you there is a downside to real trees. You should see the mess I end up with trying to get it into place, and for that matter removing it when it is done with.

One year we did have an artificial one and it was silver. It was disappointing because it just didn’t look like a real Christmas tree. We had all the decorations and lights, everything that went on our regular real Christmas tree, but it just didn’t work for me.

I’d rather buy my tree from a Christmas tree farm than a Christmas tree store. A real tree just does it better and looks right.

Until now. I have come across an artificial Christmas tree that looks like a real one. And that’s my main problem with all the aluminum trees, the fiber optic trees and all those other trees that pass as Christmas trees. They don’t look like a real tree.

This one does look like a real tree and they have gone to extraordinary lenghts to make it look like a real tree. They took real branches from a Noble Fir tree to make the moulds for the manufacture of the tree to replicate the exact growth patterns and distinct, short, wide, and rounded needle tips of the original Noble Fir tree. Now that’s commitment to your product to make that sort of effort.

The Noble Fir is considered the premier tree for Christmas trees.

Aparently tree growers who have seen the tree have mistaken it for a real one until they were told it was artificial.

Hammacher Schlemmer, where you get it, say that their artificial Christmas tree is the most realistic artificial tree in the world. And having seen it I agree.

It comes professionally strung with the best Christmas lights available. It has a lifetime guarantee. It comes with a stand, a DVD of setting up procedures and a variety of heights to choose from so that you can fit it exactly where you want to. 9 or 10 heights in fact.

Now it’s not cheap, however if you work out what you spend on your tree each year, and then multiply it out by a few years, you’ll recover your cost reasonably soon, never needing to buy another one again.

You can find it at Hammacher Schlemmer. That’s the only place you can find it, nowhere else. Just type “christmas tree” into their search box at the top of the page and you’ll see all their Christmas trees, they have quite a range to choose from.

And if you’re still not convinced and still prefer a real Christmas tree they do them as well, fresher and better than you probably get now. Check them out.
