What Do You Buy For The Guy With An iPhone?

iPhone accessories of course, that's what you buy for the guy with an iPhone.

Be it birthday, Christmas or any other occasion, there's a heap of great iPhone accessories for him to own. If he's got an iPhone you've got a long list of great gift ideas that are guaranteed to make your gift giving tasks easier for a little while.

Here's just a few great iPhone accessories for the wonderful Apple iPhone.

Now an iPhone isn't the cheapest of cell phones. Of course it's about the best, but certainly not cheap.

So one of the most obvious accessories for his iPhone is a simple protective cover to make sure it isn't scratched, dented or broken. If he's got an expensive mobile phone like that he doesn't want to be paying for repairs. iPhone protection is like insurance.

And there's a range of choices, hard cover, soft cover, whatever sort of cover you think he'll like best. All sorts of colors and all sorts of covers.

They range in price. You can even get waterproof cases so he can make a call in the surf if he wants.

Of course that's just the start of the iPhone accessories that you can choose from for his gift. There's lots more. Lots. And I'd suggest you consider more than one. A good cover for his phone is only $30 or so. Or there are good cheap ones for $10.

A car charger of course, but he probably already has one of those, just about everyone has a car charger for a cell phone. But if he doesn't then it's an essential.

And if he's in the car and isn't charging? Does he throw the iPhone in the glove compartment, or maybe leaves it on the dash in the sun, or on the floor?

Then he needs a gooseneck phone mount. It allows him to mount his iPhone exactly where he wants it within reach. Attach it to the windshield and a flexible arm makes it go in the right place. Accessible, easy to reach and view and convenient. See his map while driving, it has all sorts of uses.

Ok, none of this sound particularly sexy? I agree, cases, car chargers, mounts aren't exactly high tech exciting accessories. And he may well have them already. So I'd check first.

But if he doesn't then it's still the first things I'd think of. They may not be sexy but a good charger, cover and mount are really essential for an expensive phone like the iPhone. He shouldn't be without them.

So he's got these, what else could you buy him for his phone?

I'd look first for an iPhone Bluetooth headset. More expensive, but very useful.

Next I'd consider a dock. It is versatile and allows him to do a number of things with his phone. USB connection for charging and for syncing, and you can also make use of it to direct the audio out to his stereo. After all, if he's got a high tech high quality cell phone like the iPhone he's got to make best use of it. And if he's got some music on it he wants to listen to at home, then why not on the stereo?

(Not sure what syncing is? It allows him to add all sorts of things to his phone that he has on, say, his computer. So he can load his calendar, his contacts, his email accounts, his music, videos and podcasts, photos and more. It allows him to take all this with him in his phone, no need to carry a laptop around!)

Why not the Airport Extreme Base Station, giving him wireless internet connection at broadband speeds?

More expensive, but a great accessory for the man for whom time is money.

There's lots more, manufacturers are falling all over themselves to offer new accessories for the Apple iPhone, there's a huge market for them.
