Lingerie For Larger Women. Attractive For Him, Or Unattractive?
I got an email from a reader the other day. It asked me about my view on lingerie for larger women.
Whether or not I thought lingerie on a larger woman was something that I thought would turn her man on, and if she should consider buying some lingerie as a gift for him.
Before you start wondering about that let me explain a little. I’m not suggesting here that she should buy lingerie for him to wear. I’m suggesting that if she buys lingerie for herself, and wears it for him, then that’s as much a gift for him as it is for her.
It’s a great idea, most women love lingerie, so do their men, when their women wear it for him. I wrote an article about it called Sexy Lingerie, A Gift For Him, Or You?
So if she thinks that he’d love her to wear some slinky sexy lingerie then she can kill 2 birds with one stone. She gets to buy some lovely lingerie for herself, and he gets to see her in it.
Now to my readers question. What about larger women? She said that she considered herself to be unattractive, and so didn’t think that he’d find her all that attractive. And that trying to cover herself in sexy lingerie may just make her look silly.
Now of course it’s purely a subjective thing, however I’m pretty confident that men who are in relationships with larger women will be delighted to find that she is willing to wear some slinky clothes for him, regardless of her size.
If he’s in a relationship with you then he obviously knows that you’re a larger woman. If he found that unattractive then he wouldn’t be in the relationship. If he loves you he finds you attractive for that reason too.
You may well find that it’s all in your head, that he finds you delightful, larger or not, and that it’s you that believes he doesn’t. Maybe you’ve never given him the chance.
I think the best way to find out is to find some great lingerie, wear it for him, and see what happens. I’d be most surprised if he didn’t love it.
Alternatively why not just ask him? Perhaps phrase it like this. Hi hon, I’ve seen come beautiful lingerie online today, I wouldn’t mind buying some. Do you think I’d look good in it?
See what he says. But I think the best test is just to get some and wear it.
I understand that this could be a little confronting for some women who aren’t comfortable with their body image. However remember the old saying, nothing ventured nothing gained. If you want to find out you’ll have to – find out. And you may be very happy with the result.
There is some wonderful lingerie for larger women now. It wasn’t too long ago that lingerie was really only made for skinny women. If you were a little larger than the average then there was nothing slinky for you.
Functional yes. Slinky no.
Now that’s changed. There’s a great range of online stores now, some who specialize only in Plus Size Lingerie, nothing else. And it’s wonderful lingerie.
So to my reader, I think he’d love it. Give it a go. Have a look at the lingerie at Hips and Curves and choose a lovely piece, (or why not 2 or 3) and see what happens when you wear it for him. I think he’ll love you in some wonderful Plus Size Lingerie.
