My Mens Wedding Rings Article Reviewed.
Justin Consuegra of The Mens Gift Guide picked up on my article about mens wedding rings. He’s mostly in agreement with what I had to say, happily, but he makes some more pertinent points.
Some men, he argues, aren’t the type to wear a wedding ring, but that there may well be some other piece of jewelry, or some other type of gift entirely, that he can be given on the wedding day.
He recites a lovely personal story about his grandmother who, when she was dying, gave his granfather a gold necklace, knowing of the likelihood that he would remarry and remove the wedding ring he wore for her. And through successive relationships that necklace never came off.
As a celebration of the fact that mens jewelry is going ahead in leaps and bounds at the moment Justin is dedicating this week of his blog to Mens Jewelry. Check it out and see what he comes up with.
I’m not as much a fan of mens jewelry as I am of mens rings specifically, and for that reason I haven’t written about mens jewelry as a gift for a man, so it will be interesting to see what Justin finds.
However I’m happy to be convinced, it’s probably just because I haven’t spent a lot of time looking for mens jewelry. I’m sure if I do I’ll become a convert.
